Beautifully aging: What's your aging story?

I wanted to create a blog about getting older and the physical changes we experience, the emotional changes that come with it and how we feel about it, especially the skin  how it loses its elasticity, particularly the face, neck, hand, and our hair. It's the experience of aging and the feelings it generates, especially for women since so much of who we are is based on our looks and how attractive we are to others, but it all changes as we age, and some of us handle it better than others. One thing for sure at least in  my life, getting older means not worrying so much about things as I did when I was younger and appreciating the smaller things in life, the big bang never came, but I made it this far. While I'm sadden  to see friends and love ones die for different reasons,  it's an experience that awaits us all  and my time will come one day too. I'll say and write more on this blog about the good things of aging beautifully and how others do it as well in their own lives.
This blog  is dedicated to  two women  Aida M. Rodriguez (April 3, 2011) and Mary L. Tomaselli (March 16, 2011) both died heroically struggling with cancer  loved so much by their family and friends.
